Injuu Jyenis recently graduated with an MS in Business Analytics from the University of Kansas, where she excelled in advanced courses like Machine Learning, Data Security, and Statistical Modeling. During her graduate studies, Injuu interned as a Data Analyst at Marine Tiger Technologies, enhancing her skills in Python, SQL, PowerBI, and Microsoft Access. She played a crucial role in engaging stakeholders and led regular strategy meetings with upper management.
Additionally, Injuu worked as a Digital Humanities Graduate Assistant at the Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies (CREES). Collaborating with researchers from Michigan State University, she delved into archival Soviet Union newspaper data. Her fluency in Russian and Kazakh was instrumental in navigating and analyzing these historical documents, showcasing her ability to merge linguistic skills with technical analytics for deeper insights.
Before her master’s degree, Injuu was a Business Systems Analyst at a local startup for two years, where she implemented systems like Atlassian’s Jira and contributed to developing “The Systems Analyst Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct Manual.”
Her academic background also includes a Bachelor’s in Global Financial Management from Tamkang University in Taiwan. There, she was not only a Research Assistant analyzing the context of vulgar tweets but also served as the Chief Financial Officer of the TKU Foreign Student Association. Her proactive approach was evident when she and her team pitched a sustainable energy business plan at the prestigious Hult Prize Regionals in Singapore, representing their university.
Fluent in English, Russian, Mongolian, and Kazakh, with intermediate skills in Mandarin Chinese, Injuu also has experience teaching English to children aged 3 to 14 at Joy English School in Taiwan, where she employed storytelling and entertainment to make learning engaging and effective.
